WHAT IS HEALTH COACHING AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

For many people, health coaching bridges the gap between their physician’s advice and their day-to-day lives. While coaches don’t provide direct health care or advice, they offer support, motivation, inspiration, and accountability on the journey to better health. Through one-on-one phone sessions, I will guide you in understanding obstacles to progress and healing and in finding the changes that resonate with you. Often, it’s a matter of holding up a mirror so you can see the wonderful person you are—and helping you create a lifestyle to care for that person. Whether you are seeking to manage a chronic condition, lower your stress level, lose weight, or boost your energy for the activities and people you love, a health coach can be a powerful partner on your journey.

CAN YOU JUST GIVE ME A DIET OR AN EXERCISE PLAN?

We are all individuals, and what works for one person doesn’t work for another. Some people light up in yoga classes, while others find long walks energizing. Some of us love roasted veggies, and some crave crunchy, cool salads. And if you don’t enjoy what you’re eating or the exercise you’re doing, you’re not going to stick with it. What’s more, traditional diets are temporary by nature and tend to backfire. Healthy weight loss is a result of a balanced lifestyle you can maintain for the long haul. Through the coaching process, we discover the nourishing foods, physical activities, and relaxation practices you truly enjoy and work to incorporate them into your life.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL SESSION LIKE?

Every session is an exploration and an exchange. Rather than lecturing you, I take the time to get to know you and, by asking questions, help you get to know yourself. We are all awash in health information, and I’ve found that more information doesn’t inspire change. What does? Motivation, inspiration, self-awareness, and self-care. Depending on the plan you choose, there may be a specific topic, and sessions typically include action items to work on for the week.

WHICH PLAN IS RIGHT FOR ME?

If you’re ready to dive deep and make changes, the 90-Day Total Transformation is the perfect plan. Each week, we explore a different aspect of health, including eating habits, physical activity, managing stress, and ways you may sabotage your progress without realizing
it. I act as the guide, but the journey is all yours, as are the incredible rewards you’ll get when you take the time to get to know yourself and use that knowledge to create healthy habits. You’ll get action steps each week that lead you to greater self-discovery and self-care—and to lasting change.

The 21-Day Reset Cleanse is designed for those who want to jump-start healthy eating habits. You’ll make over your pantry, discover how different foods affect you, and, on a deeper level, explore your relationship with food and your body. By eliminating certain foods and gradually reintroducing them, clients often realize that symptoms they’d been living with for years—including skin issues, bloating, and brain fog—were triggered by food sensitivities.Single Sessions work well for anyone who has completed the 90-Day Total Transformation or 21-Day Reset Cleanse and is seeking additional support—or for anyone wanting to try out health coaching one session at a time.
